Our visit to the library led us to discover insightful books like ‘Caring Society’ , ‘Kitchen Table Sustainability’ , ‘Total Sustainability in the Built Environment,’ all of which deepen our understanding of the Sejahtera concept for sustainable development.


Here are three engaging lesson ideas about the Sejahtera concept for sustainable development, each inspired by the readings of these books :


Lesson 1: Understanding Holistic Well-being Through “Caring Society” by Cho Kah


We understand the importance of empathy and social responsibility in creating a caring community that embodies the Sejahtera concept.Which empathy affects community well-being.


Lesson 2: Grassroots Sustainability Action from “Kitchen Table Sustainability” by Wendy Sarkissian


We learn how grassroots initiatives contribute to sustainable development and the Sejahtera concept.

Examples of successful grassroots sustainability initiatives such as community gardens and local recycling programs.


Lesson 3: Evaluating Built Environment Sustainability from “Total Sustainability in the Built Environment”


We explore how sustainable practices in the built environment contribute to the Sejahtera concept of harmony and resilience. We discover sustainable buildings or urban developments that exemplify sustainable architecture such as green buildings and eco-friendly materials.
